Some of you may recall memories of going to the drive-in theater as a child and how exciting it was to be out late under the stars, watching the latest flick. Most drive-ins are gone now, but you can now to breathe new life into your family movie night by bringing it outdoors. You can now set up your own backyard movie theater and bring your outdoor living activities to a new level.
You will need a projector and a place to put your screen, preferably near a clean power source because you will also need to plug in your video source such as a Blu-ray player. Depending upon the design of your home, you may be able to hang a screen on the side of your house or your garage door. Portable inflatable screens are also available that can be placed in your yard.
Grab some snacks; add some comfortable lounge chairs or spread out some blankets and everyone will have the best seat in the house. If you are not inviting your neighbors, be sure to be respectful and keep the noise level down.
