When repairing your walls, you should utilize tie-backs.  Tie-backs are used as anchors, which tie the wall into the soil behind the wall.  This gives the wall more stability and durability, allowing them to retain their structure and position.

In order to support the wall, you will also need footings.  Footings are a bed of compacted gravel that will make the wall even more secure, which is important if the gravel is loose.  This ensures the wall doesn’t get damaged easily.

To move water away from the wall, drains will need to be installed a foot behind the wall.  This prevents pressure from building up against the wall, which could cause severe damage if you are not careful.
